Ouro Preto
We arrived to the city on schedule, which is surprising, but less surprising that the bus-tickets were controlled three-times on the same bus... Once, when we got into the bus by the driver. Twice, on the bus by an other guy, immediately after departure. Third, on half-way by a third guy during a longer stop. This is a new best practice for job-creation.
Ouro Preto is a beautiful city, the number of churches per capita is about 0.5. In every corner there is a church. All of them has Baroque or Rococo style paintings on the wall, but these are painted on wood, which are fixed to the wall. I have never seen this before. The city is at and between several small hills, which is hard to climb every day and whole day, so I had my leg-exercise for today, now I do some push-ups to maintain myself in shape whitout my TRX classes. :-)
Tomorrow I am heading to Sao Joao del Rei, precisely to Tiradentes.
