Yesterday I arrived well from Colonia to Buenos Aires. I needed to bring my clothes to the laundry, and go to a hairdresser. In the afternoon I had a coffee with my friend Alejandro, from the University of Buenos Aires and his colleague teaching a course of "intelligence". The guy was about my age, is former deputy-director of the civil intelligence agency of Argentina. He has some very interesting ideas about global happenings and has a bit (lot) of persecution mania, but was a nice, interesting, sophisticated and a very intelligent guy. Before the meeting I saw a marvellous street tango dance in San Telmo district. After the coffee we had a glass of beer with Alejandro. Then I left him for a farewell dinner with my friend Anita.
My today's only plan was to go to the airport and fly to Mendoza, but I realised in the airport that my flight was just cancelled... They could change it for a plane next day in not morning. What a shame, I lost a day in Mendoza. The airways put me in a 4 star hotel, where a night costs more than my flight ticket. The only good thing in the cancellation was, that I could finally visit the Casa Rosada, the Argentinean Presidential residence from inside. Tomorrow at 9 o'clock (hopefully) I will fly to Mendoza.
