Santiago de Chile
After arriving to Santiago at night, I just occupied the flat rented. Next day I made a washing, drying, shopping and purchasing a mobile-Internet sim-card in the morning, then I had a meeting with the Hungarian ambassador to speak about the coming official programs. I spent the afternoon in the flat with a nice but fortunately light food-poisoning... I spear the details, not day I was already fine.
Today I had a meeting with the deputy director of the Diplomatic Academy of Chile. After it the Madam Ambassador took me to the most interesting museum during my whole South-American tour (until now): the Museum of Precolumbian Art of Chile. She gave me a special guide with explanations to the exhibitions, for which I am especially grateful. I have seen an Inca "calculator", shaman column from the Eastern island, burry columns of South Chile, mummies of Chinchorro, Aztec ritual masks, three thousand years old textiles, ritual fertile cloth made of flowers, wooden and stone figures and ceramics. Unbelievable collection with a well built explanations.
